Welcome! My name is Bethany Teague, and I’m a storyteller based in southwest Virginia.

I have worked as a director, writer, cinematographer and editor since 2012. I got my start both behind and in front of the camera as a television news reporter and anchor for local stations in North Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia. I stepped away from journalism in 2017 to focus on documentary filmmaking for nonprofits, universities and companies all over the world in both staff and freelance capacities.

I got my undergraduate degree in communications from the University of North Carolina Asheville, where I also played soccer. Go Bulldogs!

My mission is to use creative storytelling to be a voice for those who need it. I love connecting with people through the art of listening. I look forward to hearing from you!
